This is my one and only sibling. My sister. And I love her with all my heart. We are close in age, and are now the best of friends. It wasnt always this way… but even through all the childhood squabbles, I can say- we have always been close. Always there for eachother. And there’s just nothing better than that. Love you sis…
This is really one of my favorite pictures. Ever. These are my great great grandparents. I would have loved to have met them. Dont they look like characters? I’ve framed this photo… its sitting on my nightstand. And each morning, I get out of bed and smile. I hope you do too! Happy sunday to you all!

I went to Moab this weekend… it was such a nice little get away. It amazing to me that in a four hour drive, the scenery can change so dramatically. Best of all, its warm, and hardly ever snows. Thats almost enough to entice me to move there! 
I went through Arches National Park today. It was incredible. It had been about six years since I’d been there… I had hiked Delicate Arch then. I thought I couldnt make it. (let it be known that the park map says its a ‘strenuous hike’) Just as I thought I’d just hang back, my 76 year old grandma passed me on the trail… There was no way she was going to beat me up the trail. 
And it was worth it. This time, I had 2 kiddos in tow. It was fun to share the beauty of Moab with them.
Some highlights:
-Eating way too many smores/burgers/fries/pizza…
-seeing shooting stars/milky way
-finding a vintage apron pattern book
-and the best of all… not ONE ‘are we there yet?’
