Sunday, August 23rd, 2009Does five years really have to go by so fast? The sleepless nights I thought would never end are all just a faint memory- as are those chubby cheeks, legs and arms… I guess that’s why I love photography. Its my way of preserving that moment. Because with each passing day, she becomes more independent, more of her own little person. And I love her for it.

Tuesday, August 18th, 2009We just returned back from a wonderful vacation in Colorado. It was my first time there (that I could really remember, or appreciate!) and it was SO much fun! We even went up Mt. Evans… and the elevation was 14,100 feet. I thought I was going to pass out. Thats almost triple my elevation at home. I was blown away at how beautiful Colorado was. (I guess I thought it would be similar to Utah…)
And one of the best parts of all… was taking pictures of these beautiful girls! (who I am lucky enough to call my cousins!) Thanks girls!

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009Seriously- what a beautiful family! And little Tate- he is a cutie! (even if he didnt want to have anything to do with me! lol) We tried getting his attention- and you know what his favorite thing to look for was? Bugs. Yep, bugs. SO cute!! Having only girls, I forget that there are those out there that think bugs are cool. (and no screaming when a fly buzzes past…) 
Here are a few of my favs.
